  I was not impressed with Dr. Yeates. Unfortunately, my insurance changed and I am in the process of finding new doctors. The care I had from my previous allergist/ENT/ pulmonologist was stellar, so I admit, the bar was high. However, I have never been treated like I didn't know what I was talking about with regards to my health. I was repeatedly interrupted! On average, after he asked me a question, he let me get about 1/3 of the way through my answer before interrupting and moving on to the next one. After it happened a few times, I stopped feeling confident that he was even listening. I didn't let him allergy test me because I don't want to go through that when I know I will not be coming back. Two things that stood out to me were 1: after telling him that I had tried different nasal sprays and that they don't work for me, he still recommended one. 2: When talking about my pet allergies and how my parents' dogs affect me but that my (poodle) dogs do not, he told me that dogs are dogs, and he recommended I stay away from my dogs. Who live with me. And are family. I told him that was impossible and he just shrugged it off. I told him I didn't have my records yet from the previous Doctor, but he continued to ask me about what was actually in the formula for my previous shots. He also asked at least 5 times when my last shot was. I get the sense that he's just doing the motions, but not really invested in people. I will not be returning and will not be recommending.
